Erich Nunn is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the English Department at Auburn University. He is the author of Sounding the Color Line: Music and Race in the Southern Imagination (University of Georgia Press, 2015). His articles have appeared in PMLA, The Global South, Studies in American Culture, The Faulkner Journal, The Mark Twain Annual, Criticism, and in a number of edited collections.
