Greta Perletti is Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Trento, Italy. She holds a PhD in Textual Analysis and Theory (University of Bergamo, Italy) and her research interests focus on interdisciplinary discourse, with a special emphasis on Victorian literature and culture. She is the author of two monographs on the interplay between literary and medical discourse (Le ferite della memoria. Il ritorno dei ricordi nella cultura vittoriana, Bergamo University Press, 2008; Il mal gentile. La malattia polmonare nell’immaginario moderno, Bergamo University Press, 2012) and of several articles and chapters in this field.
