Professional Bio
I am a post-graduate student at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University based in Wellington Aotearoa. I major in Art History under the supervision of Dr. Susan Ballard and am completing my Masters thesis titled Telling stories with Moths in the Anthropocene: insects at times of ecological crisis and planetary change. My research interests include art and ecology, the image, technology arts and art writing I completed my Bachelors in Literary and Cultural Analysis at The University of Amsterdam and my Honours with distinction at Te Herenga Waka. I am interested in inter-disciplinary research and exploring possibilities for collaborative creative academic writing. Throughout my studies I maintain an interest in the ways we look, return and continue to return to art works. I am curious about how images move and transform on their own and take us with them. I am a creative writer and interested in story-telling in with art history.
