Dr. Katherine Nolan
Professional Bio
Katie studies eighteenth-century literature and holds a Ph.D. In English from the University of Chicago. She is currently working on a book project titled “It-Girls: Objectification, Agency, and Subjectivity in the Eighteenth-Century Novel.” Her research explores the intersection of sexual objectification and emerging notions of subjectivity in the long eighteenth century. She also writes on contemporary media about the eighteenth century. Katie lives full time in Seattle, where she teaches 10th grade English.
